A few exciting and let’s face it, tragically hip things going on this weekend!
Last night was the Sydney Art Music & Culture awards, hosted by FBi at Carriageworks. I am so proud that our 2012 Sydney Fringe Festival project, Mystery Bus was nominated for an award. Its a great recognition of the hard work that we put into the event, and I would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who voted for us!
Placed in the mysterious ‘Remix the City’ category, we were up against some pretty serious competition, including City of Sydney’s Food Trucks and Kino’s Secret Cinema. Though we didn’t take home an award, a good time was had by all! Bring on 2013 bitches!
Now I’ve flown off to Hobart, for some more trendy action. MONA (The Museum of Old and New Art) has been reported by many as the best museum in the whole world. This weekend I’ll visiting during the week of their annual festival, MOFO. I am squee-ing with excitement!
In particular I’m down to see and support at secret show that will be happening on Saturday night at Faux Mo, the festival nightclub. Its going to be amazing! But I can’t say any more right now, because Shhhh! Its a secret! More info and pictures to come later.
